Lemo TV Cookies Policy
The cookies we set, why we set them, and how you can switch them off whenever you want.
This is the Lemo TV cookies policy. It covers what cookies are, how we use them on lemoeiptv.cam, and the control you've got over them. If you want the full picture on how we handle your personal info, head over to our Privacy Policy — this page only deals with cookies.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are tiny text files that a website drops onto your device — phone, laptop, tablet, whatever you're browsing on. They let the site recognise you on your next visit, remember small things like your language or that you've already dismissed a banner, and save you from re-doing the same clicks every time.
Some are "session" cookies that vanish the second you close the tab. Others are "persistent" — they stick around for a set period (a day, a year) or until you clear them yourself. We use both, and we'll tell you exactly which ones below.
2. How We Use Cookies
We don't set cookies for the fun of it. Each one does a specific job:
- Keep the site running properly (essential cookies — the bare minimum).
- Remember whether you've already said yes or no to the consent banner.
- See which pages people actually read so we can fix the ones they bounce off (analytics).
- Show you the right offer on your second visit — but only if you've opted in (marketing).
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These are the ones the site literally can't run without. They power the pricing toggle, the free trial form, the mobile menu, and your consent choice itself. Because they're required for the basics, you can't switch these off — if you block them, the site breaks. That's it. There's nothing tracking-related in here.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
cookie_consent |
Saves your accept/decline choice so we don't ask twice | 1 year (localStorage) |
Analytics Cookies
We run Google Analytics so we can tell which pages get read, which ones get skipped, and where folks drop off. The data is aggregated — we're looking at patterns across thousands of visits, not at you specifically. You're a dot in a chart, not a name in a file.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics — tells one visitor apart from another | 2 years |
_ga_* |
Google Analytics — keeps your session state during a visit | 2 years |
Analytics cookies don't fire until you've actually accepted the consent banner. If you decline, they never load — simple as that.
Third-Party Cookies
When you click through to pay via PayPal, Stripe, or a similar processor, those companies set their own cookies on their own pages. That part isn't us — once you're on their checkout, you're on their domain, under their rules. We can't read those cookies and we can't switch them off for you. Have a look at the privacy pages on PayPal.com or Stripe.com if you want the detail on what they do.
4. Your Cookie Choices
The first time you land on the site, you'll see a banner asking whether you're cool with non-essential cookies. Say yes, say no, or just close it — your call. You can flip that choice any time using the button below or your browser settings.
Reset your consent
Tap the button to wipe the saved preference. The banner will pop back up on the next page load so you can pick again from scratch.
Browser settings
Every browser also lets you block or wipe cookies directly. Here's where to look:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Heads up: if you nuke all cookies across the board, some bits of the site (login state, your consent choice, the trial form) won't behave as expected.
Opt out of Google Analytics
If you'd rather block analytics on every site you visit — not just this one — grab the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Install once, done forever.
5. Changes to This Policy
If our cookie setup changes — say we add a new analytics tool or drop one we used to run — we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. There's no email blast for cookie changes, so it's worth glancing back here every few months if you like to keep tabs.
6. Contact
Got a question about a specific cookie or want us to walk you through opting out? Ping us on our contact page and you'll hear back within 48 hours.
